Who We Support
The buildings that we preserve and maintain provide a space for these organizations that are vital to our Pine & Strawberry Communities:
Senior Citizens Affairs Foundation
The Senior Dining Room provides a social gathering place for the elderly in our community to socialize and receive well-balanced, low-cost weekday lunches in the Dining Room and/or through the Meals On Wheels Program.
The Thrift Store operates to support the Senior Dining Room and is an affordable source of many needed items.
Pine-Strawberry Food Bank
The Pine-Strawberry Food Bank is an all-volunteer, 501 (C) 3 charitable organization that has helped feed our neighbors in need for more than 28 years. Through their partnership with the United Food Bank and local donations, they have helped reduce the rate of food insecurity in Pine & Strawberry. They provide monthly distribution on the 1st Tuesday of every month and have an additional giving for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Pine-Strawberry Archeological & Historical Society (Museum)
The Pine-Strawberry Museum in Pine, Arizona, was opened in 1979 for the purpose of displaying artifacts related to the prehistory and history of Pine and its twin among the pines, Strawberry.
The museum relocated to its current location in 1990 from a single room in the Isabelle Hunt Memorial Public Library in Pine. This larger facility allows the display of more artifacts and documents; especially those that pertain to the Native American cultures that occupied our area, the first Spanish and Anglo pioneers to visit and settle the area, and the peoples who have remained in the community since the initial settlement. Much of what is displayed in the Pine-Strawberry Museum today is in tribute to the dedication and hard work of our founding families.
Pine/Strawberry Arts & Crafts Guild
The Guild hosts three Arts & Crafts festivals throughout the year.
